PANJIM: United Sports Club edged past Odxel Sports Club 2-1 in the Second Division organised by Goa Football Association played at Agassaim ground, on Sunday.
In the second half, Govind Mahale scored first for the Mardol side in the 75th minute but their joy was short lived as the opposition came with the equaliser in the 80th minute through Manoj Shirvokar. Atish Padle was the star for the winners as he netted the all important goal for the winners in the 86th minute as USC Mardol had a hard fought win over the Odxel side.
