RAIA: United Sports Club of Seraulim defeated St Anthony’s Colva, 7-6, via the tie-breaker in the all-Goa inter-village Seraulim Panchayat Cup football tournament organised by United Sports Club of Seraulim and played at panchayat ground.
Seraulim have to blame themselves for not scoring during the regular time and ending in a goalless draw, as the forwards ran out of ideas when chances came their way.
On the other hand St Anthony played a very relaxed match, with short crisp passes and combined like a well oiled machine and moreover made dangerous moves however the defence especially Keith and Azan kept them at bay.
Since both teams failed to score, the results had to be decided via the tie-breaker, where USC Seraulim proved better shooters.
