PANJIM: Team Champions Goa Driver Vaibhav Marathe won the 1st place in the 2WD category at INRC curtain raiser event Sprint de Bengaluru, organised by Karnataka Motor Sports Club, recently.
Vaibhav drove Honda City and finished 5th overall out of 35 national level drivers.
Speaking to the media, Vaibhav Marathe said, “I whole heartedly thank Team Champions who is supporting a sports person like me to participate and encourages me in many ways to continue my passion in Motor Sports. It has always been my dream from 2006 to drive full season in INRC, and now I see my dream getting real,” he said. Vaibhav thanked Subhakar Rao (Chairman Champions Yacht Club) and Vamci Merla (President Champion Yacht Club).
