PANJIM: Goan boxer Vaishnavi Prabhu has been selected for the India junior boxing camp to be held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
The 15-year-old will represent the country at the Serbia Boxing International in the 29 kg category.
The student of the People’s High School, Panjim received her basic training in boxing from NIS boxing coach Chidambaram Nail and was later trained at the Boxing Hall in Peddem under the watchful eyes of coaches Rajni and Nilesh.
