FATORDA: Varca Veterans defeated Albert Developers Veterans 4-1 to move into the semi-final of the Fatorda Forward Veterans Football tournament, played at Fatorda, on Sunday.
Varca Veterans netted the first goal of the match in the 4th minute through James D’Costa. But the joy was short lived as Alex Alvares equalised for Albert Developers in the 14th minute.
In the second half, Varca Veterans netted three quick goals in succession through Raju Cardozo, Charles and Agnelo in a span of 5 minutes to make it 4-1.
