NUVEM: Varca Veterans got the better of Verna Veterans 3-1 via the tie-breaker and moved into the quarter-finals of the Nuvem Inter Village Veterans Cup, organised by Nuvem Veterans, at Jesus Mary Joseph church ground, Nuvem, on Wednesday.
Both halves remained goalless. In the tie-breaker, Varca Veterans netted through Selwin Baretto, Henry Fernandes and Charles Rodrigues while only Franky scored for Verna Veterans.
