CURTORIM: Vasco Veterans got the better of Navelim Veterans 6-5 via the tie-breaker to move into the semi-finals of Curtorim Veterans football tournament, at DYSA Curtorim ground, on Wednesday.
Santan Furtado opened the account for Vasco Veterans in the 5th minute while Nelson Figueridi leveled terms for Navelim Veterans in the 32nd minute.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Vishant Pednekar, Shaikh Niazi, Uday Naik, Alex Alvares and Luis Cardozo netted for Vasco Veterans while Cajie Santiago, Nelson Figuerido, John Leitao and Claude scored for Navelim Veterans.
