MARGAO: NRB Vasco Sports Club kept their hopes alive with a hard fought 1-0 victory over Eagle Football Club, Kerala in Group C Second Division I-League football match at Bangalore Stadium, Thursday.
Vasco were the more aggressive of the sides and tormented the rival defence with raids. Nigerian striker Emmanuel struck the all-important goal for Vasco.
With this win, Vasco have collected 10 points from five matches.
