Goalless draw meant no action! No, there were attempts but there were equally good saves too! Vasco’s keeper Amit Biswas played exceptionally good for his side ending Dempo SC’s winning streak. He brought in couple of saves and showed tremendous good reflexes in cross balls with superb collections. He even denied Alber from the freekick with a clean save. He was well assisted by stopperbacks Amit Das and Sanwil DCosta. There was no lack of talent at Rosary ground, Navelim on Friday. Plenty of young players were on the run, but among the compeition, Churchill Brothers’ Clencio Pinto edged out scoring a goal for the Red Machines. Small in size but a dynamite on the field. Against Salgaocar he didn’t have many chances, but what he got, he made the best of it. But he constantly created passes for his teammates upfront. If only they would have scored the young lad would also have some assists to his name.
