PANJIM: The students of Taekwondo Academy of Vasco excelled at the high school/secondary/higher secondary/inter-collegiate State level taekwondo championship organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, recently.
They won nine gold, six silver and six bronze medals. These students qualified to play for the State after winning at the Taluka level and District level championships.

The gold medal winners will be representing Goa for the School Games Federation of India Nationals, Government of India, to be held in Madhya Pradesh in December.
The medal winners are: Gold: Tanish Parsekar, Saharsh Velip, Anushka Dutta, Sanvi Mahale, Samarpan Subba, Karan Kumar Chavan, Sachi Naik, Rohit Madar and Suvedh J Naik.
Silver: Rameshwari Redkar, Jaibhim Mullal, Anil Goudar, Kunal Madar, Shanu Rathod and Ramankumar Pandit. Bronze: Kellan Fernandes, Meora Vennia Barreto, Nirjala Billie, Balchandra Chavan, Anvesh Malsekar and Pooja Hullur.
