Vasco Utd, Ace Soccer Academy, CAC Cansaulim, Cortalim Gym win

Super Goans down Piedade Youth Association

MAPUSA: Vasco United FC trounced Rising Star SCC 12-0 in the opening match of the GFA U-13 Division II League match played at the panchayat ground, Chicalim, on Wednesday. 

Vasco United FC were leading 5-0 at half time. 

Affan Shah (2), Athaxi Fernandes (2), Aradhya Naik (2), Laxman Yadav, Judah Fernandes scored for Vasco United FC. Saksham Mesta played a brilliant role in goal for Rising Star SCC with some acrobatic saves for his team.

In the second match, Cortalim Gymkhana outplayed Betalbatim Sporting Club 4-1. Cortalim Gymkhana were leading by a goal from Frezar Carvalho at half time. 

In the second half, Sanjiv Kullu scored a brace for Cortalim Gymkhana, while Frazer scored his second goal to complete his brace. Ankit Kumar reduced the margin for Betalbatim Sporting Club.

In the third match, Ace Soccer Academy S&CC outplayed Baina Sports Club 4-0. Ace Soccer Academy S&CC were leading by two goals at half time with goals by Elroy Fernandes and Svanik Pednekar.

In the second half, Ace Soccer Academy S&CC continued their dominance with goals from Kartik Nayak while Svanik completed his brace.

In the fourth match of the day, CAC Cansaulim downed Benfica Youth Club 3-1.

CAC Cansaulim were leading by a goal scored by Ishaan Sayed at half time.

Richard Lobo scored a brace for CAC Cansaulim in the second half while Gagan Palyekar reduced the margin for Benfica Youth Club.

Earlier, the teams were introduced to Sushma Saini, State Head GVK 108 in the presence of Goa Football Association Member Francisco Nunes.

At Montfort ground, Corlim, Super Goans FC registered a 5-3 win over Piedade Youth Association, Divar. Super Goans lads went into the breather with a 3-1 lead. It was Snedan Vaz who scored for Piedade Youth Association lads in the very second minute of play.

Siddik Kudaikar and Sujit Singh added two more goals for Piedade Youth Association. For Super Goans lads Ruvansh, Keyan Keya (2), Atharva and Purshardam scored.
