BATORA-CURTORIM: Vasco Veterans got the better of Candolim Veterans 3-1to move into the quarter-finals of the United Club Batora Veterans football tournament, at DYSA ground, Curtorim, on Tuesday.
Seby Fernandes, Doris Rodrigues and Nelson Landes netted a goal each for Vasco Veterans in the 24th, 35th and 39th minutes respectively. Shankar Palyekar pulled a goal back for Candolim in the 70th minute.
