BATORA-CURTORIM: Vasco Veterans got the better of SAI Veterans, Panjim 6-5 via the tie-breaker move into the semi-finals of the United Club Batora Veterans football tournament, at DYSA ground, Curtorim, on Sunday.
Augustin Mesquita opened the score-line for Vasco Veterans in the14th minute but the joy was short-lived as Govind Balekar equalised for SAI Veterans in the 19th minute.
In the tie-breaker, Vasco veterans netted through Sheikh, Vishant, Nelson, Anand and Uday while Gaurish, Alexander, Govind and Ashley scored for SAI Veterans, Panjim.
Vasco Veterans will meet Assolda Veterans in the semi-finals on March 11.
