MERCES: Vasco Veterans stole a march over Chinchinim Veterans 3-1 via the tie-breaker to move into the final of the Pogo Boys 50-plus Veterans Cup organised by Pogo Boys Merces, at Our Lady of Merces church ground, Merces, on Monday.
Chinchinim dominated a fast-paced encounter and produced several chances.
Vasco had their share of opportunities but the scoreboard remained blank. Ramesh, Orlando and Nelson scored for Vasco Veterans in the tie-breaker. Only Inacio scored for Chinchinim Veterans.
