PANJIM: Government High School, Keri got the better of Shrimati High School, Velguem by 38 runs in the President’s Cup under -14 inter-school cricket match, at municipality ground, Sanquelim, on Saturday.
Govt. HS, Kerim scored 113 in 20 overs. Santosh Gawas (15), Prathamesh Gawas (14), Rohit Naik (10) and Ketan Parsekar (10) were the major run getters.
Suraj Bhamaikar picked up three wickets while Shubham Gaokar secured two wickets. Shrimati HS, Velguem managed 75 in 15.5 overs. Nikhil Ammodkar was their top scorer with 27 runs. Vasudev Mainkar and Ketan Pasekar did much of the damage with four wickets each.
