VELSAO/PALE: Velsao Sports and Cultural Club defeated Rising Star Club, Vasco 3-1 in the GFA Second Division League match, played at Velsao ground, on Wednesday.
Velsao Sports and Cultural Club drew the first blood through Jovet Baretto in the 41st minute However Rising Star Club, Vasco equalised through Basurujan Harijan in the 65th minute.
Klusner Pereira made it 2-1 for Velsao in the 74th minute.
Velsao created a momentum and soon went on to score the third goal through Richard Rodrigues to take a 3-1 lead in the 84th minute.
In another match played at Chicalim ground, Baina Youth Recreation Club defeated Parish Youth Association, Consua 2-0.
