Veterans Prakash, Deepak and Kashinath shine

VASCO: Vasco's Prakash Alfonso bagged the Veteran's 50+ singles title after getting the better of Mapusa's Arun Naik in the final of the Vasco TT Veterans' Club 3rd Sunny Bay All-Goa Veterans State Ranking Table Tennis tournament, at the BITS Pilani Goa Campus, Sancoale, recently.

Deepak Gopani picked up the 40+ crown while Mapusa’s Kashinath Khalap won in the 60+ category.
Munir Khan, Managing Director of M/s. Sunny Bay Real Estates was the chief guest and distributed the prizes in the presence of Sasikumar Punnekkat, Director, BITS, Goa Campus.
Final results: 50 + category: Prakash Alfonso beat Arun Naik 11-7, 11-9, 12-14, 9-11, 11-5. 40+ category: Deepak Gopani beat Sachin Suares 11-6, 11-7, 11-6. 60+ category: Kashinath Khalap beat Luis Mendes 11-7, 11-8, 7-11, 11-9.
