MARGAO: Host Villa Marex Boys blanked St Anthony’s Boys, Cavorim 2-0 to storm into the semi-finals of all-Goa Villa Marex Seamen Trophy football tournament organized by Villa Marex Boys, at Cavorim ground, Chandor, on Wednesday.
After a barren first half, Villa Marex showed better application and fired couple of pots shots against the rival goal. Maclon Fizardo rocked the rival citadel with a superb volley midway in the second half, 1-0. Melvin Fizardo scored the second goal.
