‘Viranganas 1.0’ curated for women groups in South Goa

MAPUSA: JCI Mapusa, in collaboration with the Goa State Rural Livelihood Mission, recently organised the Viranganas 1.0 programme aimed at empowering women in South Goa. The event featured a series of sports games specially tailored for women participants.

 Highlighting the importance of women’s empowerment, the event also witnessed the felicitation of a Pink Rickshaw Autodriver, symbolising the resilience and strength of women in unconventional roles.

 The sports segment included a variety of individual and group games, and the winners were honoured with trophies and certificates presented by the Chief Guest Ulhas Tuenkar, MLA of Navelim Constituency.

 Leading the coordination efforts was Jc Sonali Shetgaonkar, president of JCI Mapusa, while Jc Akhil Mahalker served as the Project Chairman.
