PANJIM: Vishal Das magic helped Ave Maria Athletic and Welfare Club register a fluent 6-1 win over United Club of Orlim in the GFA U-14 League match played at Cavelossim ground, on Tuesday.
Vishal netted a fine first half hat-trick opening his scoring in the second minute. Ave Maria didn’t allow their opponents to settle in the game as they doubled the lead in the 13th minute through Rosmen Fernandes. In the very next minute, Vishal completed his brace with a fine solo effort exhibiting pure class and the qualities of a great finisher as his low shot had no answer from the rival keeper.
Vishal completed his hat-trick just before the breather. Crossing over, Orlim conceded once again as Rosmen scored in the 42nd minute to complete his brace but Orlim came back strongly in the next minute and pulled one back through Asher Rodrigues. Austin Delroy D’Silva scored team’s sixth in the 44th minute.
