QUEPEM: Nuvem Veterans defeated Assolda Veterans 3-2 to move into the next round of the All-Goa Assolda Veterans football tournament, at Quepem sports complex, on Friday.
In the fifth minute, Nuvem Veterans scored through Vishant Pednekar but Minguel Barretto equalized for Assolda Veterans in the 10th minute.
Vishant Pednekar made it 2-1 for Nuvem Veterans in the 18th minute but Inacio Viegas restored parity for Assolda Veterans in the 30th minute.
However, Vishant Pednekar scored the match-winner for Nuvem Veterans in the 38th minute.
