RAIA: Vivekanand College, Borim; Borda Government College, MES College, Zuarinagar and Damodar College registered wins in the inter-collegiate football league organised by CES College at Ambelim football ground, on Thursday.
Vivekanand College of Borim defeated CES college of Cuncolim by 3-1 goals. Kashyap Metri, Kishan and Ishan scored for Vivekanand while Derryl Souza pulled a goal back for CES.
In the second match, Borda Govt College beat Vidhya Prabodhini College, Porvorim 2-1. Sohail Tadkod and Rio Costa netted a goal each for Borda while the only goal for Vidhya Prabodhini was netted by Nandish Shirodkar.
Damodar College defeated Multi Faculty College, Dharbandora by 4-1 goals. Gaurav Singh scored a brace while Loyal Vaz and Elroy Oliveira netted a goal each for Damodar. The only goal for Dharbandora was scored by Harsh.
In the last league match MES College, Zuarinagar defeated St Joseph Vaz College, Cortalim 4-1. Pradeep Bind, Shivam Baraik, Sainath Jambotkar and Akshay Passi were the scorers for MES while Vignesh Naik reduced the margin for Cortalim College.
