MAPUSA: Sunnil Pednekar headed in the 51st minute off a cross from Asher to give Goan Warriors Football Club a solitary goal victory over St Christopher Sports Club, Tivim in a GFA 3rd Division football league match (Bardez zone) at Tivim ground, Saturday. This was Warriors’ third win on a trot.

At Siolim ground, Holy Cross Sports Club, Arambol thumped Football Club of Siolim 2-0. After a barren first session, Amit Fernandes broke the deadlock in the 75th minute and then Edward Fernandes doubled the advantage.
