PANJIM: Wesley Do Rosario will meet Siddhant Parekh while Tanisi Kirtani will clash with Isha Bhandary in the finals of sub-junior boys and girls respectively of the State table tennis championship, Organized by Goa Table Tennis Association in collaboration with Sports Authority of Goa for Adv. Madhav Rao trophies, at indoor stadium, Campal, on Wednesday.
On the third day, on Tuesday, Wesley got the better of Sirus Saha in three straight sets 11-9, 11-5, 11-6 while Siddhant bt Karthik Iyer 8-11, 11-8, 11-6, 11-7 in the other semi-final.
In the quarter-final, Wesley bt Vaidik Shrivastava 11-8, 11-9, 11-4; Sirus Saha bt Shashank Pradhan 11-5, 11-8, 11-7; Karthik Iyer bt Mandhar Joshi 11-5, 11-8, 11-7 and Siddhant Parekh bt Nagesh Verenkar 11-6, 11-7, 11-4.
In the girl’s semi-final, Tanisi bt Arya Divekar 11-2, 11-5, 11-6 while Isha bt Prutha Parriker 10-12, 11-9, 5-11, 11-8, 11-7.
In the quarter-final, Tanisi bt Sneha 11-4, 11-4, 11-8; Isha bt Aditi Chodanker 11-7, 11- 6, 11-6; Prutha Parriker bt Tania Patil 12-10, 11-9, 11-7 and Arya Divekar bt Utkarsha Shiwani 12-10, 11-7, 1-11, 12-10.
The men’s matches will be played on Wednesday, 4 p.m.
