PANJIM: Wilred Leisure sports Club, Curtorim defeated San Jose de Areal Sports Club via the tie-breaker 5-4 to cruise into the semi-finals of Fr. Agnelo Youth inter-village football tournament organised by Fr. Agnelo Youth Sports Club, Paroda at Avedem, Paroda.
Areal started in a whirlwind fashion and went into the lead in the 18th minute when Aggio Antao flicked the ball into the nylons.
Wilred came back strongly and levelled the score through Tony Dias in the 22th minute of second half.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Joaquim Carvalho, Agnelo Monteiro, Bruno Fernandes, Nicson Castanha were on target for Wilred while Basil Veigas, Aggio Antao and Raymond Fernandes succeeded for Areal.
