VARCA: Wilred Leisure Sports Club edged past CAC Sports & Social Club 4-2 via tie -breaker to move into the quarter-finals of Varca Panchayat Cup football tournament, organised by Varca Sports Club on Friday.

In the ensuing tie-breaker, Wilred Leisure Sports Club scored through Arnav Estebeiro, Mairon Fernandes, Aliston Fernandes and Nezly Hilario while CAC Sports &Social Club converted through Aaron Fernandes and Agnelo D’Souza.
Alison Fernandes was adjudged the man-of-the-match award.
