PANJIM: The 2nd Vedanta Women’s Football League 2018-19 in collaboration with Goa Football Association (GFA) will kick-off on August 14 with a total of eight teams participating in the event.
A total of 160 women players will participate in the league this year. The winners will be awarded Rs 80,000 while the runners-up will bag Rs 50,000. The third place winners will take home Rs 30,000. The individual prizes include — Golden ball, golden boot and most promising player.
GFA has planned to have a dispute redressal forum this year to resolve any issues with regards to the tournament.
