Sherwin Lobo and Salil Shirodkar scored for the champions in the 20th and 28th minutes respectively after Mubarak Sheikh had given Adrash the lead in the 15th minute.
A total of 16 football teams contested for the trophy over the past few weeks. The Reira Group Football Trophy is organised annually for the last eight consecutive years in order to discover and promote promising young footballers in the state.
Winning team Xetrapal SC received the Trophy from chief guest RJ Ayesha Barreto. Also present at the final were Eknath Oraskar, Sarpanch of Saligao; Darryl Pereira, Managing Director of Reira Group along with Mario Xavier, Director, Reira Group.

The Reira Group football Tournament is a fantastic platform for budding young footballers and to encourage sports within our community.” The tournament which has gained the reputation of being an annual sporting event saw a large crowd turn up to cheer and support their favourite teams.
