SIOLIM: Xetrapal Sports Club defeated Chapora Yuvak Sangh 3-1 to storm to the final of the St. Anthony’s Rolling Cup – 2022 which is organized by St Anthony’s Sports Marna Siolim and assisted by Country Cousins Events and Entertainment in memory of Vinayak and Vilasini Fulari.
The first half of the match was mostly confined to the midfield.
Kanaya had a chance to put Xetrapal SC in the lead but his header went straight into the goalkeeper’s hands.
In the second half, Kanaya scored for Xetrapal SC with a neat tap to make it 1-0.
Few minutes later, Bradley Lobo then headed the ball into the net from a corner kick to make it 2-0 to Xetrapal SC.
Pratik Dhabolkar missed a penalty that was awarded to Chapora Yavak Sangh SC when the Xetrapal goalkeeper brought down a Chapora YSSC player in the penalty area.
In the dying minutes of the match, Ramnath scored for Xetrapal SC to make it 3-0.
