Yash had earlier won the championship in 2014 and emerged runners-up in 2015.
Altogether 170 players participated in the U-15 championship. In the semi-final, Yash defeated Tamil Nadu’s Navneet Prabhu 11-1, 11-2, 11-6.
The Goan player earlier defeated Rajasthan’s Lakshit Bohra 11-7, 11-5, 11-3 before beating TN’s Kanhav Nanavati 11-5, 11-8, 11-6 in the quarterfinals.
