PANJIM: Rifle Shooting Association, Goa’s, Yash Padloskar has been selected in the Indian rifle shooting team for the first Junior World Cup in Suel, Germany, making him the first Goan to do so.
“This will encourage the upcoming shooters in Goa”, said Kishor Shet Mandrekar, President of RSAG at a press conference held in Panjim, on Tuesday.
Yash has created a new National record in rifle shooting. He has won gold medals in Prone Position, Three Position in ISSF match 300m rifle event in Junior category.
Yash has currently secured 12 gold, seven silver and two bronze medals. He bagged six consecutive medals at the National School Games and is honoured by the State at the National Games in Kerala last year as he was the flag bearer.
