VASCO: 17-year-old Yash Fadte has been selected to represent India at the U-19 Asian Junior Team Championship which will be held at Pattaya, Thailand from January 16 to 20.
Yash is the youngest in the team out of the 4 boys who are Yash, Veer Chotrani(Maharashtra), Utkarsh Baheti(Rajasthan) and Tushar Shahani(Maharashtra).
The selection trials were held in Chennai between November 19 to 23 where Yash beat Rutvik Rau (3-0), Diwakar Singh (3-0) Sankalp Anand (3-1) and Tushar Shahani (3-1) to make the cut off.
