PANJIM: YFA (South Goa) emerged champions at the Little Gaur League Super Cup for Under-8 at Salvador do Mundo ground, on Sunday.
Fayne Rodrigues (2) and Rilan Fernandes scored.
YFA has been competing in the League for the last four years, winning silverware in each edition. The team was coached by Clinton Pacheco, Sherman Vaz and Socorro Vaz.
“We dedicate our triumph to late Jaju Fernandes of Benaulim,” added Socorro, whose grandson was part of the team and late Jaju was always excited to see him participate in the event.
