MARGAO: Youth Futsal Academy, Margao organised a Futsal Clinic cum Fundraiser for the children with special needs of Daddy’s Home School, at Chowgule Sports Centre Futsal court, recently.
The Humanitarian venture, Daddy’s Home is the brain child of Fr. Valmiki Dias, who founded the charitable trust and has been raising funds through sponsorship, owning to generosity and kindness of friends and well wishers.
This initiative by Youth Futsal Academy to spread love and happiness through the game of Futsal to help children with special needs turned out to be a big success as the students loved the experience of playing futsal for the first time, and interacting with YFA students and coaches in the different fun activities conducted for them.
Founder of YFA Socorro George Vaz handed over a cheque of Rs 35,000 to the director of Daddy’s Home Fr. Valmiki Dias and gave a jersey set to each student of Daddy’s Home from the funds.
He also raised through this event thanks to the parents of YFA, friends and well wishers.
