PANJIM: YMCA Infiknights and Hoopers 313 won their opening games in the main league of the 6th YMCA Knights Invitational basketball tournament , at Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim, on Monday.
In the women’s team event, YMCA Infiknights beat Sharada Dashing Damsels 31 – 25.
Rachel Raposa(18) and Amisha Lotlikar (7) were the top-scorers for Infiknights while for Michelle Fernandes (8) and Audrey Menezes (7) were the top-scorers for Sharada Dashing Damsels.
In the men’s team event, Hoopers 313 got the better of YMCA Titans 87-73
Roshan and Raj were the joint top scorers (17) for the winners
The top-scorers for YMCA Titans were Stefan De Souza (21) and Jaden Vas (17).
