ASSOLDA:Youth of Paroda downed Carmona Boys 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the 4th all Goa Miracles SC Cup football tournament, at Assolda ground, on Saturday.
Benson Fernandes netted the first goal of the match for Paroda in the ninth minute.
Thereafter, Carmona’s Pramod took a long range shot but failed to pop up into Carmona net in the 37th minute.
As the match progressed, in the 51st minute, Allan Carvalho doubled the lead for Paroda.
Benson Fernandes of Paroda claimed the man-of-the-match award.
