RAIA: Youth of Pidadigal downed Rumba United 3-1 to enter the quarter-finals of 9-a-side football tournament organised by Sporting Club, Virabhat, at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Tuesday.
In the first session of play, Youth of Pidadigal scored through Anthony Bogot, while Jusua missed the opportunity to level the score before half time. At the breather, Youth of Pidadigal were leading 1-0.
After resumption of second half, Anthony scored the second goal for Youth of Pidadigal, while Joshua Mascarenhas reduced the margin for Rumba United. In the last quarter of the match, Anthony completed his hat-trick for Youth of Pidadigal.
