Zulfa Goa Diamond triumph

Zulfa Goa Diamond B-Human defeated Zulfa SSC 2-0 in the recently concluded GFL-2011 Kassim Usman Khan champions football tournament organised by Valpoi Sports Club in Dubai, UAE on Friday.
The following individual prizes were awarded: Man-of-the-match – Shaikh Abdulla. Best player of the tournament – Asad Khan. (both Goa Diamond B-Human). Best goalkeeper – Mohsin Bepari (Zulfa SSC).
In the first semi-finals, Zulfa B-Human defeated Karama 32 Warriors and drew with Valpoi SC in the league stage. They defeated Sanquelim in the quarter-finals and Bicholim in the semi-finals.
In the second semi-finals, Zulfa SSC got the better of Sayeem Cargo and Vasco Shareef Boys in the league stages. In the quarter-finals, Zulfa SSC beat Kakeez Brothers and JTGT in the semi-finals.
In all 13 teams participated. Kasim Usman Khan was the chief guest and gave away the prizes.
