PANJIM: Parteek Mahajan will face Floyd Araujo while Anjana Kumari will meet Pranjal Chimulkar in the men’s and women singles finals of Late Manohar Dhond Memorial All-Goa major ranking badminton tournament organised in collaboration with Goa Badminton Association and SAG, at Indoor Stadium, Campal-Panjim, on Saturday.
In men’s Singles semi-finals, Parteek Mahajan beat Karan Dhawaskar 21-15, 21-9 while Floyd Araujo outplayed Aashrun Gautam 17-21, 23-21, 21-10.
In women singles, Anjana Kumari beat Emilia Silveira 21-16, 18-21, 21-14 while Pranjal Chimulkar outplayed Anar Singbal 18-21, 22-20, 21-16.
Top seeds Navneet Nasnodkar and Sunny Sawant moved into the men’s doubles quarter-finals.
Second seeds Pankaj Naik and Sanath Kamat also had a comfortable outing as they moved into the last 8.
