AMBELIM: Churchill Brothers FC defeated Goan FC 2-1 in the GFA’s Vedanta Women’s football league at the Ambelim ground on Wednesday.
Churchill took the lead in the 15th minute through M Castana but the opponents fought back to equalize six minutes later when Domiana Gomendes netted.
But Churchill rallied to score the winner in the second half as Alisha Tavares found the net in the 38th minute.
