VASCO: Vasco Police cracked three theft cases in a day by arresting three persons who are reportedly involved in theft cases in Calangute, Mormugao and Vasco. From these three cases two cases were of burglary and one scooter theft. The police on Thursday late night while patrolling at Mangor Hill on suspicion checked two persons named Prashant Madar (27) and Bashid Khan (20), both residents of Sada and after finding gold ornaments in duo’s possession, they were taken for interrogation. During the probe, police recovered gold ornaments worth two lakh which were stolen from one house in Calangute on December 31. Besides, these two, one minor was involved. The minor was also involved in the Vasco scooter theft. Imitation gold and wrist watch was also recovered from the accused, stolen from the house of one Rupa Naik from Headland Sada.
