CHANDOR: Curtorim Gymkhana emerged champions after defeating Navelim Sporting Club by 3- 1 to lift the 45th Seamen rolling trophy organised by Chandor club, at Chandor ground, on Sunday.
At the halftime, Curtorim led by a goal scored through James Fernandes in the 11th minute.
In the second half, Curtorim pumped in two more goals through James Fernandes in the 41st minute and Milagres Fernandes in the 58th minute.
Navelim scored a consolation goal through Roven Pereira in the 60th minute.
Vijai Sardessai, Minister for TCP and Agriculture was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to winners and runners-up in the presence of other dignitaries and club officials.
