Sunil U. R. Kawthankar has lodged a complaint with the Crime Branch against officials of Porvorim Police Station, Bardez Mamletdar, and a highway contractor. The complaint alleges that they were involved in the demolition of the Dev Khapreshwar shrine, which has deeply hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus. Kawthankar asserts that the act violated religious respect and caused considerable distress among the community. He has requested the authorities to investigate the matter thoroughly and take appropriate action against those responsible for this disrespectful and unlawful act.
