Minor girl’s death: Opinion reserved

MARGAO: The panel of doctors constituted by the Dean of Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim, who conducted post-mortem examination of the deceased eight-year-old minor girl, Sathya Vaishnavi, at Hospicio Hospital on Friday have reserved opinion on the exact cause of her death, pending analyses of viscera which has been preserved.

MARGAO: The panel of doctors constituted by the Dean of Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim, who conducted post-mortem examination of the deceased eight-year-old minor girl, Sathya Vaishnavi, at Hospicio Hospital on Friday have reserved opinion on the exact cause of her death, pending analyses of viscera which has been preserved. 
The team consisted of Dr Madhu Ghodkirekar, Dr M V Mhalay and Dr Shilpa Joglekar from GMC and Dr Avinash Pujari Hospiom, who conducted the post mortem at Hospicio on Friday evening.
It may be recalled that the minor had died under mysterious circumstances at a private hospital at Cuncolim late November 13 night after she was admitted for abdominal pain. The parents of the deceased suspected negligence by the doctors at the hospital and demanded for a post-mortem in order to verify the exact cause of the death.
