PANJIM: Housing Minister Jayesh Salgaocar on Thursday said that Housing Board has given in principle approval for the transfer of their land to Art and Culture for constructing Ravindra Bhavan and to Revenue Department for a Revenue Bhavan.
Speaking to Herald, Salgaocar said, “We have given in principle approval for transferring our housing board land in Dhargal for construction of Ravindra Bhavan, and at Porvorim for Revenue Bhavan. There will be a set of meetings scheduled before the land is officially transferred to the departments.”
He added, “The area of the land is still not defined but the land will be adequate for each of the projects.”
Asked for other details, Salgaocar said the transfer is in the initial stages and only after the series of meeting the official decision will be taken.
