PANJIM: Angela Rajan Naik, Commonwealth Gold medallist from Borda, Margao is the only Indian international referee to be appointed by World Taekwondo Federation to referee the 2013 WTF World Senior Taekwondo Championship to be held in Puebla, Mexico from July 15-22.
This is the first time Angela will be refereeing at Senior World Taekwondo Championship. She had earlier refereed at Junior World held in Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt in 2012, Asian Championship, Vietnam and Korea Open. She will be leaving for Mexico on July 9.
