PCCE cagers triumph

Padre Conceissao College of Engineering (PCCE), Verna won the inter-college basketball championship organised by Goa University. In the finals, they defeated V M Salgaoncar College of Law, Mira Mar 47-19.
Ashish Bhupal 18, Shielton Messais 8, Ashish Pednekar 8, Aditya Hosangadi 8, Nikhil Da Gama 2, Conrad Barreto 2 and Amey Desai 1 scored for PCCE while Kher Simoes
9, Aldrin Rodrigues 6, Johnson Simoes 3 and Peter Fernandes 1 were the scorers for Salgaocar.
Donaldo Rodrigues, Dy. Registrar of Goa University was the chief guest and gave away the trophies and medals to the winners.
