Open letter to the Rahejas

Dear Mr Kamal Khemani (Associate Vice President of Raheja Universal),
Through newspapers we, the people of Carmona and rest of Goa, came to know that you have vowed to complete the Carmona project at any cost.
Let me inform you that we too have taken a similar vow – a vow that we will not allow you to even start your project. Yes. At any cost and by any means necessary.
Your appeal towards us to understand your project and CSR plan has reached our ears. Let it be known to you that we understand all your plans and intentions behind them since the day we first heard your name. Carmona is a tiny village with an educated population, self-sufficient and well to do economically. We Carmonkars refuse outright your CSR plan, as we are capable of solving our problems ourselves through our panchayat.
That you have come all the way from Mumbai to save the fate of your project shows how precious our village land is, and gives us a reason to protect it from your jaws, because your 88 residential units are more than enough to change the demographic balance of this tiny village.
Your project receiving final technical clearance and NOC from Town and Country Planning Department, from the Ministry of Environment, Health Department and Goa State Pollution Control Board, in spite of being situated so close to the mouth of river Sal and the adjoining sea coast itself is an indicator of the magnitude of rot and decay that these (dead) bodies suffer from. Never mind. We do not care for their clearances or their existence for that matter.
Just a few days ago, we achieved a major success when we got a stay order from the High Court against the golf course project at Tiracol.
Once again you will see us moving from village to village, town to town with our guitars, violins and drums, singing the message of revolution against the land mafias and land sharks, or in other words,  against you, and we have no reason to misbelieve that history will not repeat itself.
