BICHOLIM: Bicholim police on Monday filed an FIR against a woman staffer of a former chief minister for allegedly threatening a civil contractor.
Contractor, Firoz Khan Pathan, in his police complaint stated that one Tanuja Khanolkar approached him four months ago and requested him to renovate her private bungalow at Karapur, Sanquelim.

“As she was having political patronage, I agreed and took the contract for renovating her bungalow at an approximate cost of Rs 10 lakh,” Pathan stated in his complaint.
The complainant stated that when he went to her house asking for the money, the woman allegedly told him she will “finish him by filing a case against him using political pressure”.
The police have registered a case under Section 506 IPC.
