OLD GOA: Dempo Sports Club started where they left off as they scored four past Sesa Football Academy in the Hero Junior League at Ella ground, on Tuesday.
It took a while for the Dempo to open the account as Sesa played very compact. The first goal came in the 44th minute through an own goal when Leo’s low cross in the box hit Sesa defender and deflected into the net.
The first half was dominated by Dempo as they missed two sitters in the process as both the opportunities fell to Sairon who squandered.
In the second half, the second goal came from Arnold’s foot from a Shreyash assist. The third goal was scored in the 68th minute off a good cross from Richon from the right flank to Topon who made no mistake to bury the ball.
Skipper Shreyash netted the fourth goal at ease as there was no pressure from the Sesa boys in the second half.
“I hope we continue the same way it’s not easy but will try, every match is important. We will take one match at a time. The boys have done,” said Dempo SC coach Remus Gomes.
